Therapies

Some recommended therapies include: fruit or vegetable juice dieting, colonics and prolapsed colon lifts, along with supplemental therapies using herbs, minerals. vitamins, and high nutrient foods.

Specific herbs, because of their nutrient makeup - minerals, vitamins, etc., will have an effect on specific cells. There are also herbs to cleanse tissues and cells, and other herbs to rebuild and nourish these cells. Garlic, for example, cleanses the blood and boosts the immune system.

Irrigation

Colonic irrigation is another method which loosens and dislodges waste by introducing water directly into the colon via the rectum. This flushing of the colon is frequently assisted through cleansing diets and the use of herbs and supplements. Several colonics are required to achieve a thoroughly clean colon, and be sure to insist that only well purified water is used.

Seeds, Herbs, Clays

Ground psyllium seed or husk mixed into juice or water with either herbs or hentonite clay is another popular means of colon cleansing. The combination of herbs and clay help loosen and pull old waste from the colon wall into the psyllium. The psyllium seed, as a high fibre product, will mix with the waste material and provide a vehicle for its elimination. The normal muscular contractions (peristalsis) can only be initiated by adequate levels of fibre in the colon itself.

Colon Lift

Frequently, the colon becomes twisted or folded as it sags, creating an even pest greater accumulation of waste. In women. it will lie on the uterus and ovaries and put pressure on the bladder, causing a numerous problems.

The prolapsed colon lift is a therapy that moves a sagging colon up into its proper position. And when the body's plumbing system has been straightened, it will more readily east off the waste following a detoxification program.

Systems Restoration

When we stop eating solid foods and drink liquids only, we give the digestive system a much needed rest. This change in diet shifts the body from expending energy on digestion to expending energy on cleansing and detoxification. I refer to this process as a cleansing mode in which expulsion of toxins and regeneration of diseased tissue is greatly accelerated.

Therapist and client can see and feel the changes that occur as cleansing intensifies. The tongue becomes coated and appears furry. Halitosis occurs, while body odours intensify. In some cases, people also experience headaches, runny sinuses, along with skin eruptions.

In general, the first three days of any cleansing program are the least comfortable, but if you can do three days you will be rewarded with a noticeable increase in energy and vitality.

Lemonade Diet

The cleansing diet which I advocate is the 'Master Cleanser', more commonly referred to as the Lemonade Diet. It is a liquid mono diet which requires drinking lemonade made from fresh lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water. It is recommended to conduct this diet for a minimum of ten days. and several of my clients have gone 30, 40, even 50 consecutive days with beneficial results.

The components of this program may sound outrageous to some, yet my personal experiences with this diet have been wonderful in terms of enhancing my health and well-being.

The effectiveness of this diet largely due to its ability to cleanse the digestive tract and the entire body at the cellular level. When using this or other programs. be sure to conduct adequate research first, or consult with a qualified practitioner.
